Day two of bath treatment.
Didn't start too well as I got there at 11 as told and should have been there by 9, so the water was a little less than scalding, oh well.
The tibetans in the next room have adopted me, clearly it is too sad that I don't have any family with me to chat and keep me company, and of course - feed me! And there is a steady stream through the door to look at my apperently very strange body, just wish they would close the door when the leave! One lady even bought her crying todler in to see if looking at me would shut him up. It didn't.
Yesterday after the bath I felt heavy. Today I feel loose, loose and everything is ka-lee ka-lee, slowly slowly.
Actually it was good that I went late, Sangye came down from the camp to bring someone back, take someone up and do shopping for others. Sangye is my new brother, he is a Tibetan from Labrang who now lives in Padua, Italy, via India. He is so funny and has such a big heart! But he has not been to Mahlo before so I helped him with this shopping, One must use ones talents!
It has been so hectic I have not had much time to talk about the time in Xining, so will do some back track tomorrow, have to go now and help the translators deal with some passport issue for some of the students. The police are checking up on us.
ANOTHER adopted Tibetan relative? You're making my Christmas card list way too long I think Ma :P
miss you, and love you lots
